The dates
Mary Jane Berlin will run from 3 to 6 June 2027 at Messe Berlin, Hammarskjöldplatz, Eingang Nord. The organisers have split the programme as they did in recent editions: Thursday 3 June is a B2B trade visitor day from 11:00 to 18:00 with no festival, then the public expo and festival run Friday 4 to Sunday 6 June.
- Thursday 3 June 2027: B2B trade visitor day, 11:00 to 18:00, no festival.
- Friday 4 June 2027: 11:00 to 20:00, festival programme until 22:00.
- Saturday 5 June 2027: 11:00 to 20:00, festival programme until 22:00.
- Sunday 6 June 2027: 11:00 to 18:00, festival until 18:00.
Season 2, and what the branding signals
The organisers are marketing 2027 as Season 2, framing the first ten years as a completed chapter. For an event that grew alongside German reform, that framing carries some weight: the first decade covered the period when German adult-use policy was aspiration, and the next will cover the period when it is implementation.
Why the Thursday matters more than the weekend
For readers deciding whether to attend, the trade day is the substantive part. It is where buyers, cultivators, clinicians and distributors do scheduled business before the public crowds arrive, and where conference programming is concentrated.
The German context makes that Thursday unusual among European trade days. Under section 6 KCanG, advertising and sponsorship for cannabis and for cultivation associations are prohibited, which constrains what exhibitors targeting the German non-medical space can say and how they can present. Medical exhibitors face the separate restrictions of the Heilmittelwerbegesetz. Anyone exhibiting should take German legal advice on stand content rather than assume trade-fair norms from other markets apply.
Practical notes
Messe Berlin is reachable by U2 to Theodor-Heuss-Platz or Kaiserdamm and by S-Bahn to Messe Nord/ICC. Ticket categories, pricing and any age restrictions are published by the organisers, and LeafCurrent recommends confirming details on the official site before travelling — event schedules change, and we will update this listing when they do.
