The essentials
The international trade show of cannabis and medicinal herbs takes place from 6 to 8 November 2026 at PVA Expo Praha Letňany. The organisers publish opening hours of 11:00 to 20:00 on Friday and Saturday and 11:00 to 18:00 on Sunday. Entry is for adults; under-18s are admitted only accompanied.
For scale, the organisers describe the previous edition as hosting 247 exhibitors across five halls and more than 14,000 square metres, with around 80 percent of exhibitors coming from outside Czechia and roughly 24,000 visitors, including 3,000 trade visitors from 50 countries.
The conference is the underrated part
A professional conference runs throughout the fair in the PVA Expo conference hall and is free to visitors holding a valid ticket. That is unusual: at most European events of this size the substantive programming sits behind a separate badge.
The exhibition floor spans cultivation equipment, fertilisers, seeds, accessories and vaporisers, hemp cosmetics, textiles and food, which makes it a broader hemp fair than a cannabis-policy event.
Timing, in a year when Czech law changed
The 2026 edition lands eleven months into the framework under Act No. 270/2025 Coll. (effective 1 January 2026), permitting adults aged 21 and over to cultivate up to three plants and hold defined quantities for personal use. Commercial sale remains prohibited and there is no club or association channel under that Act.
That produces a specific kind of trade show. Domestic demand growth sits in home cultivation supplies rather than in retail-facing product, because retail does not exist. Exhibitors selling equipment, substrate, seed and testing services are addressing a market the law has just enlarged; exhibitors selling anything resembling finished consumer cannabis are not.
LeafCurrent cites the reported 2026 framework cautiously and recommends confirming current thresholds in the official Collection of Laws. Ticket pricing and the exhibitor list are published by the organisers.
